Landscape Design

Landscape Design presents two overlaid versions of the Google Map of RAIR's site: one without local context, and another with a faint shadow of the Site’s proximity to Four Seasons Total Landscaping: the location of the much-derided failed Trump press conference in November 2020. Calling attention to present and past context of the Site, both above- and under-ground, the work asks questions about how contamination spreads: is it only in its original incidence or its public discovery? Does that spread continue as conditions shift, land appears remediated, and movements return to a state of quiet or secrecy?
