Tiny WPA is a non profit located in Philadelphia that is centered around creating a ‘community of diverse, multigenerational, civic change agents’ known as building heroes. They learn to design practical objects, as well as leadership and entrepreneurship skills, with the objective being to transform their community through direct material and civic improvements.

Through RAIRS partnership with TinyWPA, they have been able to curb materials costs for thier community program called the Bulding Heros program. Once selected these community memebrs are provided with a range of material for thier personal and communal projects. Below you can see a Bulding hero creating a tabletop from wood sourced by RAIR.
