During Yolanda He Yang’s time at RAIR, she spent her time collecting the dust here in Revolution Recovery. She made performances and stencils with the collected dust as both a medium and message of the failed potential of progress which is left behind. She assembled a video montage with sound, alongside a sculptural installation that shows landfills and recycling yards being living sites of erasure, ruin, and neglect.
